The Circuit took part in the recent law fair in Manchester. Current pupils were there to answer students’questions on a career at the Bar and life as a barrister practising in the North West.

International Committee for the Northern Circuit
Gerard McDermott QC is to establish an International Committee for the Circuit. Gerard has been involved in International Affairs for many years and will be looking to foster relations with one or two jurisdictions overseas in addition to organising educational programmes.
The International Committee will hold its inaugural meeting at 9 St John Street Chambers on Thursday 2 February 2012. If you would like to become involved in this group, please email Susan Chisholme or Holly-Ann Shaw.
