The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of Mr Timothy Roger Alan King QC to be a Justice of the High Court. Mr Justice King is to be assigned to the Queen's Bench Division. (Press release 21 December 2006). The Northern Circuit is delighted to hear this news and we look forward to the congratulatory dinner later in the year for both the Hon. Mr Justice King and the Rt. Hon. Lord Justice Leveson to mark his appointment to the Court of Appeal and as the Senior Presiding Judge of England & Wales.
