NEUBERGER REPORT ON ENTRY TO THE BAR
Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury is chairing a working party entasked with investigating how ‘entry to the Bar’ can be improved, th interim report of which can be downloaded at the link below. The final report is due by end of 2007.
KENNEDY REPORT
The report of the independent Kennedy Working Group, chaired by Sir Paul Knnedy was published on 23 May 2007. The group was set up in 2006 to consider whether changes to the composition of the Bar Council are needed in light of the Legal Services Bill; how the Bar Council should better reflect different sections of the Bar and how the split of the Bar’s representative and regulatory functions should effect the Bar Council’s relationship with the Council of the Inns of Court.
